Rachel Adams - Principal
Rachel is the Academy's Founder and Artistic Director. With over 20 years experience of performing on stage, Rachel studied Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, learning disciplines of the craft and has been involved with many theatrical groups, casts and directors. She has performed at the Fortune Theatre in London's West End, Bloomsbury Theatre, Kenneth More Theatre, Towngate Theatre and Brentwood Theatre, to name but a few and has enjoyed performing in a variety of roles and genres.
Rachel's passion for the
'Theatre Arts' began when she was just 11 years old and at
Primary School. Having succesfully secured the role of 'Fagin' in
the school's production of Charles Dickens' 'Oliver Twist', she
identifed her natural flare and talent for character acting and
performing. After winning the school's award for performance,
Rachel continued to be involved with this newly found love and
since then, has enjoyed working with cast and crew from different
backgrounds and with varying levels of experience in the
industry

She has performed in a 'Theatre In Education' piece for teenagers and has also enjoyed being part of the teaching team for several children's drama workshops.
Although Rachel has always had a love for the Arts, she decided to pursue a professional career in London's Financial Sector. Whilst working full time in London, she founded 'Beyond the Rainbow Theatre Company' with the desire of directing and producing high quality, professional shows, in order to raise money for Charity. This project reinforced the thrill felt by pure nervous adrenaline, as you take those first steps out on stage and into the spotlight, prompting a change in career that would allow her to share her passion and interest with future generations.
Sophie Honeywell - Drama and Dance
Since a young age, Sophie has been very passionate about the 'Perfroming Arts Industry'. She started her training learning Ballroom Dancing and was soon attending and successfully completing competitions and exams. When Sophie was 10 years old, she committed to broadening her skill set and performance ability by attending a Performing Arts School, where she studied Singing, Acting and various Dance genres, including Ballet and Tap. Sophie has achieved the British Medallion in Tap, Intermediate Ballet and is 'LAMDA' trained. Sophie was awarded 'Perforimng Arts Student of the Year' in her final year of studying her Diploma in Drama, where she graduated with 'Triple Distinction' and went on to continue her training at the Guildford School of Acting.
Sophie was soon successful in securing a place in the cast of ‘Oliver!’ at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and has also worked in television.
She has also played the role of ‘The Bride’ (Blood Wedding), ‘Lysander’ (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and ‘Rita’ (Billy Liar).
Sophie is delighted to be part of 'Beyond The Rainbow' and she looks forward to working with exciting new talent.
Jamie Brown - Drama and Musical Theatre

Since Secondary School, Jamie has always been fascinated by Drama and Musical Theatre. He studied for three years at Havering College in a ‘Performing Arts and Acting’ Diploma. In his last year, he was awarded the college SUVA 'Student of the Year Award 2012'. His skill set also developed through his experience performing in a touring Essex Pantomime of 'Cinderella', around many Primary Schools in Essex. During this time, Jamie joined local theatre groups and performed at many venues such as the Queens Theatre, Brentwood Theatre and the Thameside Theatre in Musicals: Sweeney Todd, Blood Brothers, Room 5, Paper Planes and Down The River and Up The Road. This led to playing many comical characters.
Jamie was then successfully awarded a 2:1 in a four year 'Drama and Theatre Studies' Degree at Kent University. He studied various modules such as Puppetry, Stand Up Comedy, Shakespeare, Physical Theatre and Playwriting. In his third year, as part of his placement, Jamie worked at Havering College as a Drama Teaching Assistant. During his time at University, he had the opportunity to join the Kent Musical Theatre Society. Upon graduating, Jamie now performs in shows with Limelight Theatre Company.

Amy Williamson - Head of Dance
Amy has been dancing since a young age, training in various styles of dance such as Ballet, Street, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Freestyle and has passed her IDTA examinations alongside this training.
Amy has performed in shows at the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch, whilst being a member of their dance youth group and she has also performed in several dance showcases at Stratford Circus.
Having successfully graduated from the University of East London with a BA (Hons) in Dance: Urban Practice, Amy is also a qualified teacher with the IDTA at Associate level. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience of Dance and looks forward to teaching the students of ‘Beyond The Rainbow’.
Elisha Dengel - Dance
Elisha has been dancing and performing for 10 years. She started training at a local dance school and then moved on to Kayzar Dance School of Urban Dance to further her knowledge of dance and the various genres within Hip Hop.
At Palmers College Elisha studied Performing Arts along-side Urban Dance, which involved various performing experiences including pantomimes and Commedia dell’arte which is a street based performance of improvisation.
Whilst Elisha was studying in college she was also taking lessons in her spare time at her dance school which led to performing on the Main Stage of Move It, Earls Court and even appeared on the Sky 1 TV Show ‘Got To Dance’.
In the recent years Elisha has gone on to qualify to represent the UK in the UDO World and British street dance championships, gaining many 1st and 2nd titles.
Elisha is thrilled to have recently joined the Teaching Team of ‘Beyond The Rainbow’.
Michelle Miranda - Singing /Vocal Coach
Michelle’s passion for music started at the age of 7 when she first began playing the piano. This quickly extended to the clarinet and singing when she discovered she could hold a tune.
The piano and clarinet were slow burners, eventually earning her an A level in music, but singing has been an unending obsession which has led to participation in multiple choirs, including school, church and community branching in to regular solo performances in front of audiences ranging from 5 to 300. As well as being part of choirs, Michelle has also had experience in conducting a choir bringing them to competition standard.
Michelle has had extensive vocal training and has been taught various techniques essential for improving confidence in singing in front of large audiences.
After graduating with a science degree, Michelle has pursued a career in legal billing but Music still plays a huge part of her life, as she continues to study the various styles and strives to teach children (especially her 6 year old) the beauty and power that the gift of music can bring the multitudes.
Harry Hughes – Drama and Musical Theatre
From a young age, Harry has always been interested in Acting. During Harry's time at Senior School, he became involved in a play called ‘Bouncers’ by John Godber. He enjoyed the experience of being on stage and taking on another character so much, he decided that it was the career path he wanted to follow. Since then he went on to study at Havering Sixth Form College, where he achieved a ‘Triple Distinction’ in ‘Performing Arts’, securing him a place at the London College of Music, where he went on to gain a Degree in ‘Acting for Stage and Screen’.
Harry has performed in many different shows, as well as short films. He has played the part of ‘Dennis’ in the Musical ‘All Shook Up’, which he performed with Phoenix Theatre Company and for Harry's FMP at the London College of Music, he starred as ‘Macduff’ in Shakespeare's ‘Macbeth’. He has also performed in a Fringe Play called ‘Fiction’ and has recently performed overseas in a Musical Production Show, with the company ‘Live Business’. Harry has also taken on his fair share of panto jobs, playing ‘Buttons’ in a School UK tour of ‘Cinderella’, a villain called ‘Ferro Roche’ in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Captain Hook’ in the panto ‘Peter Pan’. Harry continues to perform in shows with local Essex group ‘Limelight’. As for Screen and TV, Harry has played parts in Student Films and Feature Films. His most notable Film Credit is a short Film called ‘Welcome to the Deaf World’, which aired on the Sky Community Channel.
Harry is very excited to be starting with ‘Beyond The Rainbow’ and can't wait to use his experience and knowledge of the Arts, to help teach and train the students into becoming great performers.
Chloe Savill -
Dance
Chloe has been dancing from a very young age. She started attending local dance schools and then started attending Dance Works Studios at the age of 11, to further her knowledge of Street and Hip Hop.
After finishing Secondary School, Chloe went on to study 'Dance' at Barking and Dagenham College, where she got the chance to explore other dance styles such as Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz. In 2013, Chloe was part of 'Youth Dance London' with her College Dance Group and then went on to be part of 'Youth Dance England', where she got the opportunity to perform at the Northern Ballet Theatre, as well as a number of other theatres around Leeds.
Since completing College, Chloe has been keen to pass on her knowledge to others. She is so excited to be part of 'Beyond the Rainbow' and is so proud to be part of the team.
